Chance Harbor Large Outdoor Wall Lantern in Zinc, 55.1 cm

The tall version of Chance Harbor

The design of the range returns on a larger scale: round wall plate, swan-neck arm topped with a finial, tiered cap and cylindrical diffuser in clear ribbed glass. The wire cage, wider at the base, protects the glass. The whole lantern is made of aluminium with a weathered zinc finish.

Bulb, dimmer and IP44 rating

It takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, to be bought separately, and can be controlled by a dimmer. The IP44 rating makes it suitable for use in the rain, on an exposed wall or under a roof overhang. To fit it, choose a 2700 K warm white LED for a soft effect on the façade. Class I appliance: an earthed circuit is required.

Dimensions and fixing of a 3.76 kg lantern

Allow for a projection of 32.1 cm: screw the wall plate into a load-bearing wall or masonry support, not into lightweight cladding without reinforcement. On a large façade, position it so that its top sits roughly level with the door lintel.
