Basel black outdoor wall light, rectangular backplate and glass

Black backplate and glass held by two straps

The cast aluminium backplate frames a slightly domed glass. Two horizontal metal straps cross it at mid-height and are fixed at the side with a visible screw. The structure combines aluminium and galvanised steel, under a black finish that stands out well against light render or stone.

An E27 bulb under glass, IP54

The E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W; the bulb must be purchased separately. The IP54 rating protects the light from rain and dust: it can be installed on a façade, even without a canopy. The brightness can be varied if the bulb and the dimmer allow it. For entrance lighting, choose an E27 LED in 2700 K.

31 cm high, 3.46 kg to fix

It measures 31 cm by 21 cm and projects only 12 cm from the wall, which makes it discreet alongside a path. Its weight of 3.46 kg calls for wall plugs suited to the surface. Next to a door, place it about 1.80 m above the ground, slightly below the top of the door frame.
