Rex-1 grey half-moon outdoor wall light with white diffuser

An arc of grey aluminium around a white diffuser

The Rex-1 is shaped like a half-cylinder set flat against the wall. Its straight back plate carries a grey aluminium frame that follows the curve, top and bottom, and holds a translucent white acrylic screen across the whole front. No ornament: the curved line alone defines the piece.

Diffused light for an entrance or a terrace

It works with an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, not included. A standard-shape LED is enough and runs cooler in an enclosed fitting. Rated IP54, it is protected against dust and water splashes; it can be fitted on an exposed façade as well as under a porch. Class I: an earth connection is mandatory.

Dimensions and mounting height

The housing measures 25 cm long by 12 cm high and projects only 13 cm from the wall, so it does not get in the way in a narrow path. At 0.6 kg, it can be fixed without reinforcement on most façades. Plan to mount it at about 1.70 m from the ground beside a door, or use two wall lights on either side of the entrance for symmetrical lighting.
