Small Jens LED IP65 outdoor wall light, black, 13.5 cm

The short version of the Jens, in black aluminium

The same design as the medium version, scaled down to 13.5 cm wide: a small plate with rounded ends, die-cast in aluminium and finished in black. The top carries a polycarbonate lens that runs the full length of the housing and hints at the LED strip.

What the 6 W source delivers

The lighting relies on an integrated 6 W LED, included with the wall light, for a stated output of 680 lm, with no dimming possible. The data sheet gives a colour temperature between 3000 and 5700 K. Thanks to its IP65 rating, the wall light withstands downpours and jets from a garden hose, even on an unsheltered wall. Class I: it must be earthed.

Where to fit it

Light (0.47 kg), it is easy to fit. Its depth of 3.1 cm stops it getting in the way in a narrow passage, a side path or an outdoor staircase. Allow about 1.70 m from the ground to light a letterbox or an entry phone, slightly lower if you mainly want to mark steps. On a large stretch of façade, choose the medium version, which is better in scale.
