Grey shade and openwork skirt
The top is a slightly domed anthracite grey disc that directs the light down towards the ground. Beneath it, a silver-coloured metal skirt riddled with tiny holes surrounds the lampholder. A grey stem runs down to a horizontal arm in brushed stainless steel, screwed onto a round backplate. The manufacturer specifies grade 304 stainless steel, combined with aluminium.
Downward light, E27 bulb of 40 W maximum
The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 40 W, not included. An E27 LED is more than enough; the brightness is adjustable with a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer. The shade covers the grille and the IP44 rating protects the light from showers: an exposed façade, a garage entrance or a terrace wall all suit it.
A 29.5 cm projection to plan for
The wall light measures 22.1 cm high and 27 cm wide, and weighs 1.1 kg. Its projection needs a little space in front of the wall: avoid fitting it at shoulder height in a narrow passage. Above a garage door, it lights the manoeuvring area; near a front door, mount it slightly higher than head height.
