A nautical lantern in aged black steel
The aluminium structure has an aged black finish, with the look of weathered metal. The clear glass is flecked with tiny bubbles: it lets the bulb show through while softening the sharpness of the filament. Horizontal bands and vertical uprights protect the cylinder, which is topped with a round cap and finished with a pointed finial.
Entrance and façade lighting
The E27 lampholder accepts a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. A 2700 K filament LED keeps the look of a vintage bulb behind the bubbled glass. Dimming is possible with a dimmable bulb. Rated IP44, the lantern withstands rain: it can be fitted directly on a façade or under a canopy. Elstead states a limited three-year anti-corrosion guarantee on this range.
Size and mounting height
Allow 46.2 cm in height by 24.1 cm in width, projecting 30.4 cm from the wall: allow for this clearance near a door that opens outwards. On either side of an entrance, place the top of the lantern roughly level with the top of the door, at about 1.80 to 2 m from the ground.
