A glazed drum in the style of a lantern

This ceiling light takes the design language of the Merrill wall light and lays it on its side. A broad round base with profiled grooves fixes to the ceiling; below it, vertical black aluminium uprights hold a cylinder of clear bubbled glass. The lower part is encircled by a black band, with a small decorative button on the front.

Two E27 bulbs under a porch

The two E27 lampholders each take a maximum of 60 W, bulbs not included. As the glass is clear, we recommend LED filament bulbs, in 2700 K for a warm light; if dimmable, they can be controlled with a dimmer as the brightness is adjustable. With its IP44 rating, the ceiling light withstands damp air and wind-driven rain: it is suitable under an eave, a covered pergola or an open gallery.

A low profile for low ceilings

Its 33 cm diameter gives it a good presence in the centre of a porch, and its shallow height keeps it clear of passers-by's heads even under a low ceiling. The light weighs 3.06 kg: screw it into solid support or a joist, not just a plain panel of cladding.
