English Bridle medium bronze lantern pendant light, 47 cm, 3 lights

Patinated bronze and bubbled glass

The cast aluminium frame, chain and suspension ring all share the same bronze shade, with copper tones. The glass urn is made of clear granite-effect glass, flecked with bubbles. A pierced interlaced band runs beneath the roof, and a tapered finial closes the bottom of the lantern.

A pendant light for a porch or gallery

The IP44 rating protects it from rain and water splashes; hung up, it suits a porch, a covered yard or a gallery. It takes three E14 bulbs of up to 60 W each, supplied separately, and works with a dimmer if the bulbs are dimmable.

Height and weight

The chain lets you lower the lantern to an overall height between 58 and 210.5 cm. With a diameter of 21.6 cm, it weighs 3.96 kg: fix it into a joist or a slab, and connect the earth, as the fitting is Class I. Above a front step, keep the finial out of head height. For durability, Elstead covers corrosion for 3 years.
