Carson outdoor pendant light, 3-light metal ribbon sphere

Globe of crossed ribbons

Flat bands of aluminium and steel, curved into circles, cross over one another to form an openwork sphere. At the centre, three arms extend from a hub, each carrying a clear glass cylinder dotted with bubbles. The matt brown aged iron finish gives the metal a weathered look.

Three E14 lampholders

Each arm takes one E14 bulb of up to 40 W, not supplied. Clear warm white LEDs bring out the bubbles in the glass. With dimmable bulbs, the pendant light can be used with a dimmer to lower the light in the evening. Its IP44 rating protects it from water splashes: install it under cover of a roof, an awning or a roof overhang. Class I, earthed.

Rod and height

The pendant light hangs from a rigid rod, supplied with extensions: the overall height ranges from 70.3 cm to 131.6 cm. The globe alone is 47.6 cm high and the whole fitting weighs 3.51 kg; it must be screwed into a load-bearing support. Above a garden table, allow 0.65 to 0.75 m between the tabletop and the bottom of the globe.
