Oyster white enamelled shade and chrome arch

The steel dome is lacquered in a oyster white that leans towards cream; its ribbed neck joins a polished chrome arch that curves in a semicircle down to the base. The base, round and slightly domed, matches the colour of the shade. The inside of the dome is white, which reflects the light downwards.

An E27 bulb under a white reflector

The E27 lampholder accepts a bulb of up to 60 W, to be bought separately. As it stays visible under the edge of the shade, an exposed-filament bulb or a clear-glass LED shows off the retro look; for prolonged work, choose a neutral white LED instead. Dimming is not possible. IP20 rating: dry rooms only.

On the desk: 46 cm high

The lamp measures 46 cm high and 30 cm wide, and extends 36 cm. At 3.69 kg, it stays firmly in place when you move papers around it. Place it on the side opposite your writing hand to avoid casting a shadow.
