Burnished brass and pearl lampshade

The burnished brass finish shifts from gold to brown depending on the angle, and is darker in the mouldings. The base, in cast zinc, starts from a round grooved foot, rises in a taper and opens into a tulip shape just below the lampholder. In a pearl colour, the lampshade has the same curved drum shape with uprights as the other version, in a fabric with a silk-like sheen.

It takes an E27 bulb limited to 60 W. A warm white LED enhances the warmth of the brass and the pearly shade of the fabric. No brightness adjustment is provided. IP20: for dry areas of the home only.

Size and stability

Allow 40.6 cm in width and 78.7 cm in height. At 5 kg, it stays stable on a piece of furniture. For a long sideboard, a pair of Syracuse lamps placed at each end lights the whole top.
