About this light

This Taipei lamp base is an oriental black ceramic vase, covered in a gold and brown lattice of interlocking rings. It has a lid and stands on a black wooden base. Sold without a lampshade, it measures 40 cm high: a base with real character for a classic-style living room, hallway or study.

Description

A golden net over black ceramic

The broad-shouldered vase is glazed in glossy black. A pattern of gold rings and links, highlighted in brown, covers it from neck to foot; a frieze runs around the base. The domed lid and the turned black wooden base complete this traditional shape.

How to use it

An E27 bulb of up to 60 W must be added; it is not supplied. The base is sold on its own: an ivory empire lampshade edged in black, like the one on the complete version, suits it well. Class I.

Dimensions

40 cm high, 16.5 cm in diameter.
