Glass drum and slim stem

At the top, the cylinder lines up cut rectangles of clear glass, set between two chrome rings. A slim stem connects this drum to a flat, round base, in the same chrome-plated mild steel. The silhouette remains very vertical: almost all the volume is concentrated at the top, at standing height.

An E27 bulb and a foot switch

The E27 cap takes a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. To make the most of the reflections, choose a clear filament LED in warm white, around 2700 K, rather than an opal globe. The switch is operated by foot; the light cannot be dimmed. IP20 rating: living room, bedroom, study, away from moisture.

Stability and floor space

The floor lamp weighs 8.85 kg, which anchors the base well. Its width does not exceed 26 cm: it slips between a sofa and a wall, at the end of a bookcase or beside a French window.
