Knutsford LED Bathroom Ceiling Light, White Frosted Glass, 30.5 cm

Frosted glass dome on a white base

In the photo, the domed glass takes up almost the whole visible face; only a thin white mild steel rim shows around it, so the light reads as a continuous glowing disc when switched on. The frosted glass hides the light source and softens hot spots.

Integrated 14 W LED, neutral white

The LED is factory-fitted. It delivers 1210 lumens at 3500 K, a shade between warm white and cool white that renders faces well in front of a mirror without turning the tiles yellow. The brightness cannot be adjusted; the light works on a simple switch. Its IP44 rating makes it suitable for the bathroom: steam and water splashes from a washbasin will not harm it, provided it is not installed in the shower zone or directly above the bath. Being Class II, it is connected without an earth wire.

Compact size, ceiling-mounted

The Knutsford measures 30.5 cm in diameter by 9 cm high and weighs 1.38 kg: it suits small ceilings, cloakrooms or a shower room of a few square metres. It is screwed directly to the ceiling.
