A glass cube on a square backplate
Everything on this wall light from the Elstead Greenwich collection is square: the wall backplate, the short arm that carries the diffuser, and the diffuser itself, a white opal glass cube. The metal is polished chrome, as shiny as bathroom taps. The satin glass hides the bulb and turns the cube into a block of light, with no dazzling point.
A soft light, protected from splashes
A G9 bulb of up to 40 W, supplied with the light, shines through the faces of the cube. The light spreads around the wall light and rises towards the ceiling. The IP44 rating protects the light from water splashes: it can be installed in the bathroom, above the basin or beside the mirror, outside the shower. It operates at constant intensity.
Two wall lights framing a mirror
The wall light measures 14.7 cm high and 10 cm wide, and projects 12 cm from the wall. It weighs 1.4 kg and is fixed to a standard flush mounting box, with an earth connection (Class I). To light a face without shadows, install one on each side of the mirror, with the cube at eye level.
