Lantern on a fluted pedestal
The flared stem, streaked with fluting, rests on a square base. Above it, the lantern keeps the ornaments of the range: scrolled handles, a chiselled cornice and a finial at the top. The champagne-tinted, wavy glass surrounds the bulb and gives off a golden glow. The dark antique bronze finish, applied to the cast aluminium, brings out the relief details.
Marking an entrance or a flight of steps
The bollard light takes an E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, not supplied. The champagne glass softens and tints the light: it marks an access point, a step or a garden entrance rather than lighting a large area. It accepts a dimmer to soften the lighting, with a dimmable LED bulb. IP44: it can stay outdoors in the rain without protection. Class I: the power cable must include an earth conductor.
54 cm on a pillar or low wall
At 19 cm in diameter and 2.03 kg, it screws onto a flat masonry surface: top of a pillar, low wall or high step. Allow for a buried duct to its position. A pair of bollard lights frames a gate or the start of a driveway nicely.
