A street lantern on a ringed post
The hexagonal black aluminium lantern has slightly curved clear glass panes that reveal the lampholder. A faceted cap and a pointed finial finish it off. The straight post, banded with rings, runs down to a flared, faceted base that keeps it steady.
Path lighting and variable brightness
A single E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 100 W, not supplied with the floor lamp. A 2700 K filament LED keeps the look of a traditional lantern and gives off little heat. The technical data sheet indicates variable intensity: with a dimmer and a dimmable bulb, you can lower the light late in the evening. The IP44 rating protects the light from rain and splashes: it can be planted directly in the ground, at the edge of a lawn or path.
220 cm tall, 5.5 kg to anchor
At 220 cm, the lantern rises above low hedges and remains visible from the street. The floor lamp weighs 5.5 kg: plan a concrete base to fix it to and a buried duct to bring in the cable. It is Class I, so an earth connection is mandatory; have it carried out by an electrician.
