A white resin block with a curved profile
Keope takes the form of an upright block whose front face curves outwards and whose top traces a gentle wave. The resin, combined with plastic, is stated by the retailer to be resistant to corrosion and thermal shock, meaning the temperature swings between a day in full sun and a cold night. The matt white finish has a fine grain. The glass diffuser is on the underside of the light: this single-light version has just one diffuser.
A beam aimed at the ground, protected from rain and dust
The GU10 lampholder takes a bulb of 6 W maximum. The beam runs down the wall and marks the threshold rather than lighting the whole garden. The IP55 rating means the housing is protected against dust and water jets: the wall light can stay exposed to downpours, without a canopy. Class II: double insulation, no earth wire to connect.
Compact size, fitted at head height
At 9 cm wide and projecting 7.5 cm, it stays discreet on a narrow pillar. It weighs 0.35 kg. Beside a door, fit it at about 1.70 m from the ground, on each side if the entrance is wide.
