Black cast aluminium and domed glass
The body is cast aluminium painted black. The round, rounded-belly lantern has clear glass panes that let the bulb show through. A moulded cap topped with a finial crowns it, and a small point finishes it at the bottom. The arm curves out from the wall plate, then rises up beneath the lantern.
Upward-facing bulb, for a sheltered wall
The E27 lampholder, facing upwards, takes a bulb of up to 60 W; the wall light is sold without a bulb. A clear filament LED keeps the flame effect through the glass. Its IP23 rating protects it from water falling at an angle, but not from splashes: fit it under an awning, a porch or a roof overhang rather than on a façade exposed to driving rain. It is Class I: an earth wire is required.
25.2 cm projection and mounting height
The wall light measures 46 cm high by 16.2 cm wide and projects 25.2 cm from the wall: keep this clearance in mind in a narrow passage. Near a door, fit it at about 1.80 m from the floor, one on each side for a wide entrance. Its weight of 1.6 kg is modest for a façade fixing.
