Large Chelsea copper lantern outdoor wall light on bracket, 99 cm

A street lantern brought to the wall

The design echoes English street lanterns: four trapezoidal polycarbonate panels, corners decorated with finials, a sloping roof topped with a dome and a spire. The copper, hand-shaped according to Netlighting, changes shade as it ages outdoors. The black powder-coated aluminium support combines a tall backplate, a scrolled arm and a basket of curved brackets beneath the lantern.

One lampholder, 60 W maximum

The E27 cap takes a bulb of 60 W maximum, not supplied with the wall light. The lighting can be used with a dimmer when the bulb is dimmable. Tip: choose a warm white of around 2700 K, which complements the glow of the copper. As for the weather, IP44 is sufficient for an exposed, windy wall. The luminaire is Class II.

52 cm projection, 6.19 kg

The wall light projects 52 cm from the wall and weighs 6.19 kg: a solid brick, stone or concrete wall is essential, with fixings sized for this load. Also check that a shutter or a door leaf will not hit the lantern when opening.
