Karlstad outdoor wall light, fisherman's lantern in galvanised steel

Swan neck and galvanised steel hat

The round backplate carries a curved arm that drops down towards the light, as on quayside lamps. The conical galvanised steel hat sits over a clear glass globe that protects the bulb. The British retailer describes a cast steel of Scandinavian inspiration. This zinc grey, with no paint, matches gutters and metal joinery.

An E27 bulb under glass, IP55 protected

The E27 lampholder accepts up to 75 W; the bulb is not included. The clear glass shows off the lamp: a 2700 K filament LED keeps the look of an old lantern with low energy consumption. The IP55 rating protects against dust and water jets, so installation on an exposed façade is possible. Class II: no earth connection required.

Dimensions and mounting height

At 27 cm wide, 22.5 cm high and with a 42 cm projection, the wall light stands out clearly from the wall: check that it does not obstruct the opening of a shutter or door leaf. To light a front door, fix it about 1.80 m to 2 m above the ground, at the side or above the lintel. It weighs 1.8 kg.
