A black block open at both ends

The housing, in black cast aluminium according to the manufacturer, has sharp edges and smooth faces, with no visible screws in the photo. Both ends are closed by a glass panel that lets the light through. By day, the fitting is reduced to a dark rectangle on the wall.

Two neutral white beams

Each end houses an integrated 4000 K LED, a neutral white, at fixed intensity. It is accent lighting: it draws two bands of light on the wall rather than lighting a large area. For a doorstep, pair it with a porch ceiling light. The IP44 rating means it can be left out in the rain. The retailer states a three-year finish warranty, excluding coastal areas.

Projection and spacing

With a projection of 5.7 cm and a depth of 6 cm, it sits close to the wall, even in a narrow passage. For an even effect along a facade or fence, align several wall lights at the same height, around 1.80 m, spaced about 2 m apart.
