Chicago outdoor wall light, black bracket lantern, 47 cm

A street lantern scaled for a house

Textured black aluminium forms an ornate wall plate, a crook-shaped arm and a scalloped top. Beneath the top, the clear glass dotted with small bubbles curves round before closing on a pointed cap. The relief of the finish catches the raking light.

E27 lampholder, bulb of your choice

The lantern takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W; it is supplied without one. With a dimmable LED, it can be connected to a dimmer. For a welcoming light, a low-power warm white LED already lights a front step well. IP44 rating: it can stay outside all year round, in rain and splashes.

Dimensions: 28 cm projection

More compact than the large version, it still projects 28 cm: leave some clearance from shutters and door leaves. Position it so that the bottom of the lantern passes above shoulder height, at least 1.60 m up. Its 2.88 kg calls for fixing into masonry rather than cladding. Class I, to be connected with an earth wire.
