Chain, cylindrical neck and wide disc

A chain of oval links runs down to a ring, accompanied by the black cable that follows the links. Below the ring, a cylindrical neck carries the lampshade, a barely conical disc that extends well beyond the glass dome. Solid brass and glass make up the whole; the protective wax finish lets the antique nickel develop its patina over the years.

Light directed downwards, variable intensity

Beneath the lampshade, the light is directed downwards and illuminates the doorstep or the table. The E27 lampholder accepts up to 100 W; the bulb is sold separately. The light fitting is compatible with a dimmer, provided a dimmable bulb is fitted. IP44: it withstands the splashes of rain that a canopy does not stop. Class I, with earth connection.

From 33 to 95 cm high

The lantern alone is 25.5 cm high; including the chain, the total height ranges from 33 to 95 cm. It weighs 1.89 kg, a modest load for a properly plugged and fixed ceiling hook. Under a porch, allow about 2 m of clearance beneath the glass.
