Cecilia 16 cm recessed marker spotlight with two slots, GX53 10 W

A closed disc, two openings

The Cecilia covers its diffuser with a dark-coloured resin cover: only two arched cut-outs, one on each side, let the light filter through. The retailer describes a partially covered diffuser. This solid cover protects the light source and keeps the fitting discreet at ground level during the day.

A skimming light to guide the way

Fitted with a GX53 lampholder for a lamp of 10 W maximum, the large model projects two opposing sheets of light, flush with the ground. The IP67 rating tolerates temporary immersion: rainwater standing on a terrace is no problem. Floor mounting is intended, as is wall mounting at the foot of a wall or in a stair riser. The retailer states a high resistance to loads, useful in a walkway area.

Installation

Allow for a recess at least 12 cm deep, with drainage beneath the body. The spotlight weighs 0.74 kg. It is Class II, so has no earth conductor. When installing, turn it to line the slots up with the direction of the path if you want to light the way, or across it to highlight an edge.
