This 5-light pendant in satin silver and crystal, the Royale takes its cue from the silhouette of a classic chandelier: a faceted central column, five curved arms and candles set on small dishes. Faceted column and scrolled arms
The faceted central stem runs from the chain down to the hub, from which five curved metal arms in a satin silver finish extend. Each arm ends in a clear dish and a candle-style sleeve that holds the bulb. Cut crystal drops hang beneath the arms and from the end of the hub, throwing off sparkling reflections as soon as the light is switched on. The satin finish is more matt than polished chrome.
E14 candle bulbs
Five E14 lampholders, 60 W maximum per bulb, to be fitted by you: no bulbs are supplied. Clear candle bulbs show off the crystal to best effect; if you choose dimmable bulbs, the pendant light can be used with a dimmer. Its IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry living spaces only. It must be connected to an earth, as the light fitting is Class I.
Height of 97 cm including chain
Allow for a diameter of 58 cm and a maximum height of 97 cm including the chain. At 3.4 kg, the weight is moderate for a five-arm chandelier. Above a table around 90 cm wide, this diameter is well proportioned; leave 65 to 75 cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the crystal drops.
