Five candle holders gathered around the stem
The black stem hangs from a chain with large links. Five steel arms descend from it, curve and then rise towards flat drip pans that carry cream sleeves. Beneath the arms, scrolls form a continuous frieze all around the chandelier, in the Gothic spirit of the Minster collection. The black and cream contrast stays crisp, with no gilding.
More light on the same diameter
Five E14 lampholders each accept a maximum of 60 W. Bulbs are not included: warm white E14 LED candle bulbs work well. The pendant light can be used with a dimmer if the bulbs allow it, handy for lowering the light at the end of a meal. Its IP20 rating makes it suitable for living spaces, sheltered from moisture.
Heights and fixing
The body of the chandelier is 34.5 cm high; depending on the length of chain kept, the whole fitting measures between 40.5 and 101 cm. Under a low ceiling, it can be fitted as a semi-flush ceiling light. Allow for 2.2 kg to hang and a connection with an earth wire, as the light fitting is Class I. Leave about 70 cm between the bottom of the candle holders and the tabletop.
