Twisted black steel and opal dome
The body of the Pembroke is a short rod in black-finish steel, coiled in a spiral between two turned rings. It hangs from a chain with links in the same colour, attached to a small ceiling rose. Below, a dome of opal glass with white and grey veining flares out, with a slightly turned-up edge that conceals the bulb.
Light directed towards the table
The opal glass softens the beam of an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. The light fitting is compatible with a dimmer: in that case, choose a dimmable LED, preferably in 2700 K warm white to keep the glass's cream tint. IP20 rating: for dry rooms only, including the kitchen and living room.
Dimensions and installation
The light fitting alone measures 40 cm high by 34 cm in diameter, and the whole assembly hangs down to 104 cm including the chain. According to the range description, the chain can be removed for installation as a semi-flush ceiling light, useful under a low ceiling. At 3.6 kg, a suitable wall plug for your ceiling is sufficient. Above a table, leave around 70 cm between the bottom of the glass and the tabletop.
