Aged bronze, glass and grey fabric

The steel frame in an antique bronze finish starts from a round ceiling rose, drops down through a link chain and then a short rod. Halfway down, a clear glass cylinder held between two turned rings recalls the columns of old chandeliers. The conical grey fabric lampshade features a fine woven pattern and a light trim along its edges.

An E14 bulb beneath the lampshade

The E14 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 40 W, not supplied. The supplier states that the light intensity is variable: with a dimmer, choose a dimmable LED bulb. The fabric directs most of the light downwards, for a soft glow rather than task lighting. IP20 rating, for dry rooms only.

Dimensions and hanging height

The light fitting alone measures 35 cm high by 27 cm in diameter; including the chain, the total height is 82 cm. This modest size suits a corridor, a landing or a bedroom. Above a bistro table, allow 65 to 75 cm between the bottom of the lampshade and the tabletop.
