Urban Renewal Dome and Cage Pendant Light, Antique Wrought Iron, 25.4 cm

Metal half-sphere and protective grille

The top of the light is a steel dome in an antique wrought iron finish: an anthracite grey, almost black, with a slight patina. Beneath the dome, a rounded steel wire grille forms a half-cage that protects the bulb while leaving it visible. A metal collar caps the dome and a black cord connects it to a ceiling rose in the same colour.

Light directed downwards

The opaque dome sends the light towards the surface to be lit, while the grille lets a little escape to the sides. E27 lampholder, 60 W maximum, bulb sold separately. The light can be used with a dimmer and a dimmable bulb. IP20 rating, for indoor use.

An extra-long cord

The dome measures 25.4 cm in diameter and 23.5 cm in height, and the light weighs 1.25 kg. Thanks to the cord, the overall height is adjustable from 29 to 479 cm: enough to hang down from a mezzanine or a vaulted ceiling. Over a table, set the bottom of the grille about 70 cm above the tabletop.
