An openwork drum of steel squares

The lampshade is made of cut and curved pieces of metal, assembled as a mosaic around a band of silver-coloured organza. The light passes between the plates and casts a pattern on the fabric. Above, four brushed steel arms meet under a ring, and a disc of frosted glass closes the underside to prevent glare.

Four E27 bulbs behind the glass

The light takes four E27 bulbs of 60 W maximum each, to be purchased separately. It works with a dimmer provided the bulbs are dimmable. As the glass hides the light sources, standard 2700 K LED bulbs are sufficient.

Adjustable chain and weight to consider

The body is 48.9 cm high; with the chain, the total height can be adjusted between 56.4 and 209 cm, enough for a high ceiling. The light weighs 6.91 kg: fix it to a solid support, using a fixing suited to the ceiling or a hook anchored in the slab. Above a table, leave 65 to 75 cm below the glass.
