About this light

A small brushed nickel pendant light with a fabric lampshade, the single-light Blakely encloses a cylinder of pale fabric within a rectangular cage with slightly arched uprights. At 30.5 cm wide, it works alone above a bedside table or desk, or in pairs above a worktop.

Description

A steel cage around an ecru lampshade

Two flat steel frames in a brushed nickel finish cross to form an open lantern. The lampshade, a tube of thick, textured off-white fabric, hangs at its centre. Unlike the 3-light version suspended from a chain, this model hangs from a rigid rod.

An E27 lampholder up to 100 W

The E27 cap accepts a bulb of up to 100 W, not included in the delivery. An equivalent LED is more than enough for a table or reading corner. The light is stated to be compatible with a dimmer.

Dimensions and adjustment

At 40.6 cm high, the pendant light reaches a total height of 48.7 to 153.7 cm depending on the rod length chosen. Its weight of 3.1 kg is suitable for most ceilings. Above a worktop, leave around 70 cm below the lampshade.
