About this light
White opal glass pendant light from the School House range, inspired by the school lamps of days gone by. The wide, curved milky globe hangs from a fine chain in a satin silver finish and gives a soft light with no dazzling hot spot. It suits the living room, hallway, kitchen and even a bathroom thanks to its splash protection.

The diffuser echoes the shape of old school lamps: a flared dome that curves out towards the bottom, with a small button beneath the base. The white opal glass hides the bulb and spreads the light. It sits in a satin silver metal gallery, connected by a fine-link chain to a matching ceiling rose.
Diffused light, suitable for damp rooms
An E27 lampholder for a maximum of 60 W, supplied without a bulb. With a compatible bulb, the brightness can be adjusted with a dimmer. Rated IP44, the pendant light withstands humidity and splashes: in a bathroom, hang it above the basin or in the centre of the room, away from the shower. It is Class II, with double insulation.
Dimensions and height
The light fitting alone measures 28 cm high by 30 cm wide; including the chain, the total height reaches 120 cm. It weighs 1.63 kg. Above a table, aim for 65 to 75 cm between the bottom of the globe and the tabletop; in a hallway, check that people can walk under the glass without difficulty.
