Holophane-style ribbed glass and patinated brass

Each dome is made of moulded glass with fine horizontal ribs, like the holophane glass of cafés of days gone by. The ribbing breaks up the light and gives a slightly prismatic sparkle. The antique brass finish covers the ceiling plate, the chains, the double bar, the lampholder covers and the rim around each glass.

Three E27 caps, dimmable

You will need three E27 bulbs, not included, of 60 W maximum each. The pendant light can be controlled by a dimmer with compatible bulbs. Under this ribbed glass, a frosted LED bulb hides the filament and keeps the light even. IP20 and Class I: for use indoors in dry areas, with an earth connection.

Heavy and long: fix it with care

The bar is 99 cm long and 27 cm deep, and the light fitting alone is 27 cm high. With the chains, the total height goes up to 120 cm. The weight of 7.38 kg requires a solid anchor in the ceiling, using a heavy-duty fixing or a joist. Above a table of 180 to 200 cm, allow about 70 cm between the bottom of the glass and the tabletop.
