Small Fisherman pendant light 18 cm, antique brass and oval glass

The nautical lamp in miniature

You will recognise the dome, the stepped stem and the visible screws of the larger models, scaled down to a small light fitting. The metal shade in an antique brass finish opens out above a clear glass diffuser in the shape of an ogive, which extends noticeably below the rim. A matching cable runs up to the ceiling.

Light source

Despite its small size, the E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W. The bulb is not included: a small clear filament LED in warm white shows off the glass. The light is dimmable when used with a suitable bulb. IP20, so for dry rooms.

Height and alignment

Including the cable, the whole fitting is 95 cm high. When hung in a row above an island, space the pendant lights 40 to 50 cm apart and hang them about 70 cm above the worktop. Used on its own, it suits a small room rather than a large living room.
