Satin brass stainless steel and angled arm

The structure is made of stainless steel in a satin brass finish, a matt gold whose slight grain shows on the backplate. A flat arm, bent into a rounded right angle, connects the rectangular backplate to a cylindrical sleeve that holds the bar. Beneath it runs a frosted acrylic diffuser that softens the LED source. The diffuser is only 1.6 cm in diameter: seen from the front, the bar is reduced to a thin gold line.

A 12 W LED for 1338 lm

The light source is an integrated 12 W LED, included, giving 1338 lm at 3000 K. This output suits a painting in dark tones or a dark wall. The light stays at a fixed intensity. The IP20 rating restricts installation to rooms protected from moisture.

Size and installation

At 51 cm long, 11 cm high, with a 21.5 cm projection and weighing 0.63 kg, it covers a picture about one and a half times its width. For a very wide canvas, two wall lights placed side by side spread the light better. Centre it above the frame, a few centimetres from the top edge, in front of an electrical outlet planned at that spot.
