Alton white LED picture light, large model 67.4 cm
About this light
The white Alton LED picture light blends into a light wall: you notice the illuminated canvas rather than the light fitting. Its 67.4 cm bar, held by a curved arm, suits the wide paintings of a living room or a long hallway turned into a gallery. The LED is integrated and dimmable, with a luminous flux of 983 lm.
Guarantees and services
A white that blends into the wall
The circular backplate, curved arm and tubular bar all share the same white finish. Mounted on a white partition wall, the wall light is reduced to a fine line above the frame. The body is made of steel, with polycarbonate. The underside of the bar, visible in the photo, lets the light out towards the picture.
LED source and dimming
No bulb to buy: the 11.6 W LED module is integrated and produces 983 lm, in energy class A++. It works with a dimmer, which is useful for lighting a canvas without glare in the evening. The IP20 rating limits use to dry rooms: living room, dining room, landing.
Wall mounting
Dimensions: 67.4 cm wide, 16.9 cm high, 20.5 cm projection, weighing 0.83 kg. The bar sits above the picture, centred on it. As a guide, choose a bar that covers between half and two thirds of the width of the frame. The fitting, Class I, must be connected to an earthed circuit.
