Samson IP44 Bathroom Spotlight Bar, Matt Black, 4 Lights

Four black cylinders on a two-part bar

A round ceiling rose in the centre, a matt black steel rod on each side, and on each rod two cylindrical spots 6 cm in diameter, hung beneath the bar by a short link. The declared materials are mild steel, stainless steel, acrylic and plastic.

GU10 LEDs included, IP44 protection

The four GU10 caps are fitted with 5 W LEDs, supplied with the bar, for a luminous flux of 1400 lm. According to the technical datasheet the light is dimmable: allow for an LED-compatible dimmer. The IP44 rating protects against splashes: the bar is approved for use in the bathroom, except in the shower zone and above the bathtub. It also works well in a kitchen or utility room.

79 cm to centre over the basin unit

At 79 cm long, 13 cm wide and 19.5 cm high, it weighs 1.2 kg. On the ceiling, centre the rose in line with the vanity unit so that the four spots cover the full width of the mirror. For a longer room, the 6-light version of the same model offers considerably more reach.
