About this light

A light version of the Merusa model, this 1-light white GU10 spotlight keeps the cube-shaped head with rounded edges and the rectangular base plate. Two black details stand out against the white: the small connecting stem and the ring around the bulb. On a white ceiling it stays discreet and directs the light towards a piece of furniture, a picture or a reading corner.

Description

Matt white, black ring and stem

The steel and aluminium body is painted white, base plate included. Black appears in just two places, the stem linking the head to the base plate and the ring around the front face: this contrast outlines the bulb when the spotlight is switched off.

GU10 lampholder, dry room

Designed for a 35 W GU10 bulb, the spotlight is sold without a light source. A GU10 LED uses far less energy for a comparable light output; choose a narrow beam angle to highlight an object, or a wider one to light an area. Rated IP20, it is for indoor use, protected from water splashes.

Installation and dimensions

At 11 cm long and 7 cm wide, the spotlight drops 10 cm below the ceiling. Surface-mounted, it needs no cut-out in the ceiling. Above a worktop, position it slightly in front of the person working to avoid casting a shadow.
