Merrygold wall spotlight, black tube with amber acrylic, GU10 cap

A two-tone black and amber tube

A round matt black steel base fixes to the wall. It carries a two-part cylinder: the first, in translucent amber acrylic, has a golden look; the second, black and opaque, houses the light source. Seen from the front, you can make out the black disc, the amber glow of the sleeve and the bulb lens at the end of the tube.

GU10 bulb and beam

The Merrygold takes a GU10 bulb of up to 35 W, not included. This cap is available in LED with a narrow angle, for accent lighting, or a wider one for supplementary light: choose the angle to suit the use. The spotlight works with a dimmer when fitted with a dimmable GU10 bulb. Class I (earthing required), IP20: dry rooms only.

Projection and weight

The base is 10 cm wide and the tube extends 28.7 cm: it protrudes noticeably from the wall, so avoid it in a narrow passage. The spotlight weighs 0.49 kg. Above a picture, position it centred a few centimetres from the frame; in a row of two or three, it gives rhythm to a living room wall.
