Description

The Directoire urn

The wooden base, curved like an antique vase, is lacquered black. A wide frieze of gilded foliage runs around the shoulder; the neck, foot and square base have an antiqued gilt finish. The Empire lampshade, in pure pleated ivory cotton, is trimmed with a black and gold braid.

Light

One E27 lampholder, 60 W maximum, bulb not included. The ivory cotton gives a warm, even light. Class I.

Size

68 cm high, 46.5 cm lampshade, 8.01 kg: it needs a piece of furniture wide and stable enough to carry it.
