Milo table lamp in white and antique brass with green striped lampshade

Green fibres and white ceramic

Up close, the lampshade looks like raffia: very fine vertical stripes blend sage green and white. This fabric gives a slightly green, textured light. The white base, with its round belly and elongated neck, rests on a patinated antique brass ring.

Which bulb to choose

A single E27 lampholder, up to 60 W; the bulb is sold separately. On a desk, a 3000 K LED gives a crisper light for reading or writing. The switch is on the power cable, and the lamp, which is Class I, must be plugged into an earthed socket.

Dimensions

36 cm in diameter, 69 cm high and 5.1 kg: allow for a bedside table wide enough to leave a little room in front of the base. The green of the fabric pairs well with light woods and plants.
