This white plaster ceiling spotlight is a solid cylinder 13.5 cm in diameter, surface-mounted. The GU10 lamp sits recessed behind a ring, which hides it when viewed from the side. Matt and raw, the gypsum can be painted or varnished to match the colour of the ceiling, a wall or woodwork.

A paintable block of gypsum
The body of the Oak is cast in gypsum, a form of plaster with a matt feel. The 16 cm high cylinder ends in a flat face where a white ring frames the recessed lamp. The material takes paint or varnish: you can match it to a coloured ceiling or leave it white.
GU10 lamp, 35 W maximum
The GU10 lampholder takes a lamp of 35 W at most, not supplied. Choose a wide-beam GU10 LED for general lighting, or a narrow one to highlight a picture or a worktop. IP20: for dry rooms only. Class II, so no earth connection is required.
Surface mounting, 1.58 kg
The plaster makes this spotlight heavier than an aluminium model: 1.58 kg, to be fixed with plugs suited to the surface. It needs no recessing and hangs 16 cm below the ceiling. A row of three or four cylinders lights a hallway or a kitchen worktop.
