Simply large frosted glass ceiling light, 50 cm, 4 x E27

50 cm of blown, frosted glass

The slightly domed shade is made of blown glass, then frosted. It hides all four bulbs completely and reveals only a luminous disc. Three chrome-plated metal clips, spring-locked, hold it against the metal mount.

Four bulbs of your choice

Four E27 lampholders, each rated for a maximum of 60 W. No bulbs are supplied with the light. 2700 K LEDs suit a living room, 3000 K a home office. The manufacturer lists it as fixed output, with no dimming. IP20 rating: not suitable for installation in damp rooms.

A weight to take into account

At 3.19 kg, this size needs to be fixed into concrete or a solid ceiling support, not into plain plasterboard without suitable fixings. Place it in the centre of the room. Wall mounting is possible, but a diameter this large is better suited to the ceiling. Class I: earth wire must be connected.
