A moulded dome under a gadrooned crown
The pressed glass shade, in a cream tone verging on amber, carries a relief pattern of drapes and fluting. It fits into a walnut-finish steel crown whose edge is scalloped with patinated gadroons. At the centre, a turned finial in the same tone completes the base. The design draws on the Edwardian vocabulary of the Drawing Room range, which also includes pendant lights and wall lights.
Two E27 bulbs behind thick glass
Each lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W; bulbs are not included. The thick glass softens the light and prevents glare. If connected to a dimmer, it requires dimmable bulbs. Its IP20 rating restricts it to dry rooms: living room, bedroom, landing. Choose 2700 K LED bulbs to keep the golden tone of the glass.
Flush fitting, 33 cm in diameter
Mounted flush to the ceiling, it drops only 15.2 cm and leaves clear headroom even under a low ceiling. Its 33 cm diameter is enough for a small bedroom or a passage. Weighing 1.95 kg, it should be fixed with plugs suited to the ceiling material. Class I: the earth wire must be connected.
