Mirror plate and cascade of crystal balls

The structure is a rectangular chrome-plated metal plate with a mirror finish, fixed flat against the ceiling. Eight lampholders are arranged in a line, hidden behind several rows of drops. Each crystal strand ends in a clear sphere: seen from the side, the whole forms an even band 20 cm high.

Eight G9 caps to fit

Bulbs are not supplied with the light fitting. Each G9 lampholder accepts up to 33 W; a 2700 K G9 LED is sufficient and barely heats the crystals. The ceiling light can be connected to a wall dimmer, provided you choose dimmable bulbs. IP20 rating: for dry rooms only. Class I, earth connection required.

Dimensions and fixing

At 83 cm long by 33.5 cm wide, it spans the length of a table for six; centre it on the axis of the tabletop. Its weight of 9.65 kg requires fixing into a joist or concrete slab, using suitable plugs: plasterboard alone is not sufficient.
