Colonna floor lamp in gloss black, uplight, 4 GX53 bulbs
About this light
This black uplighter floor lamp draws a graphic 181 cm line through the room. Its round cup at the top throws the light onto the ceiling, which spreads it back softly and evenly. The gloss black finish stands out clearly against a light wall. Supplied with its four GX53 bulbs, it lights a living room or home office without direct glare.
Guarantees and services
Gloss black metal and a vertical line
A round base with a small step, a stem drawn in a single line, a 35 cm black cup: the design of the Colonna is pared back to the essentials. The gloss black gives the metal a subtle sheen. The white diffuser set inside the cup can only be seen from above, so the head looks black from within the room.
Light reflected from the ceiling
The four 15 W GX53 bulbs are supplied with the floor lamp. This indirect lighting works well alongside spotlights or a pendant light, or on its own in the evening for a soft glow. Like any IP20 light fitting, it should stay in rooms protected from damp: not for bathrooms. Class II.
Size and placement
Standing 181 cm tall, it weighs 7.74 kg. Placed in a corner, it makes use of the two walls and the ceiling to spread its light more widely. Under a dark or very high ceiling, the indirect effect loses its strength: choose a room with a light ceiling.
