Smarties 3-Light Pendant Light in Blown White Glass 42.5 cm

A pebble of blown, frosted glass

The Smarties diffuser has the silhouette of a flattened sweet: rounded edges, a slightly domed top and underside, no sharp edges. The white glass, blown then frosted, looks opaque to the eye yet lets an even light through. It is held by a round chrome-plated metal support, connected to the ceiling by three fine steel cables.

Three E27 bulbs behind the glass

The light takes three E27 bulbs of 42 W maximum each, not included. It cannot be dimmed: the wattage of the bulbs sets the light level. For a soft light in a living room, choose a colour temperature of 2700 K. With an IP20 rating, it is intended for dry rooms only.

Height and positioning above a table

The total height, cables included, adjusts from 39.5 to 214.5 cm, which leaves plenty of leeway under a high ceiling. With a diameter of 42.5 cm, it suits a round table of about 70 to 80 cm; place the bottom of the glass 65 to 75 cm above the tabletop. The whole fitting weighs 2.93 kg.
