Eight arms forming a crown around the column
The eight metal arms spring from the same ring beneath the column and form a wide crown of candle cups, all at the same height. The antique white resin column alternates gilded rings and bulges, then ends in a point beneath the ring. According to the manufacturer, the white patina and the gold leaf are applied by hand.
Candle bulbs shining in every direction
The bare candles light up 360°, towards the ceiling as well as towards the table. You will need eight E14 bulbs of 40 W maximum each: they are not supplied with the chandelier. The intensity cannot be adjusted: the manufacturer classes this chandelier as non-dimmable. Its IP20 rating makes it suitable for rooms protected from moisture. Class I: the earth wire must be connected.
6.44 kg to hang from a load-bearing ceiling
Hung from a chain, the chandelier has an overall height of 67 to 105 cm. Its weight of 6.44 kg requires fixing into a joist or a concrete slab, not simply into plasterboard. Above a table, leave about 70 cm between the candles and the tabletop; its 64 cm diameter suits a table at least one metre wide.
