Gränsö basket chandelier in crystal and chrome-plated metal, 3 lights

Strands of beads in a hot-air balloon shape

The silhouette recalls Empire chandeliers: a cascade of crystal bead strands flares out from the top to a chrome-plated metal ring, beneath which a cup of beads surrounds the bulbs. The suspension chain is chrome-plated too, and the power cable is transparent.

Light filtered through the beads

The three E14 lampholders sit in the cup, behind the crystal: the light emerges broken up into reflections on the walls and ceiling. Allow a maximum of 40 W per lampholder; clear LED candle bulbs keep the sparkle while giving off little heat. Bulbs not included. IP20, so for dry living areas only; Class I with earth connection.

68 cm of light fitting and 4.1 kg to hang

The light fitting alone is 68 cm high, plus 120 cm of cable. This height suits a position above a table better than a walkway; in that case, leave 65 to 75 cm between the base of the chandelier and the tabletop. The weight of 4.1 kg requires a solid fixing point in the ceiling.
